Water spreading between floors in Bakırköy
Water reaching several floors does not identify the leaking line on its own. Tell Fix Tesisat which flats are affected and what access is available. We discuss the Bakırköy inspection, its price and any separate intervention before approval.
A clean-water suspicion led to a blocked main drain
In our recorded Bakırköy job, heavy seepage spread from the third floor to the lowest floor. Initial checks focused on clean-water pipes. Some flats were inaccessible, and intermittent blockage was reported later, widening the investigation. A resident’s account about a water valve was not something we had observed ourselves.
Our own checks led us to the upper flat’s drain. Camera inspection showed a blockage in the main drain and wastewater escaping through old seals. We explained two options: opening and replacing the pipe, or first clearing the blockage with the drain-cleaning machine.
The customer chose clearing. Seepage stopped after the machine intervention. This did not renew the seals or the pipe, and does not establish the right repair or result for another property. The existing Turkish leak-detection page describes the Bakırköy work.
Access and the pipe type guide the investigation
Tell us the affected rooms, floors and timing, including any intermittent backflow. Access to another flat may be needed; its inspection scope and fee are discussed before that flat is checked. Observations from residents help plan checks but do not replace findings.
Marwos V18 Plus acoustic listening can assist on suitable clean-water pipes, while Raythink CX 200 Pro+ thermal imaging can assist on heating pipework. Roteksan RC400 imaging is for appropriate wastewater pipes when needed and accessible. A camera is not a compulsory step for every suspected leak.
For repairs using materials supplied by Fix Tesisat, the one-year warranty covers only the section we repair or replace. Untouched pipework and later damage from use are outside that scope. Material choices and warranty scope are explained in the quote.
Clearing, optional washing and repair have separate scopes
The technician chooses the method at the property. Where machine clearing is needed, we use the ROTHENBERGER R600 and check water flow after opening. Necessary, technically possible camera checks or toilet removal for clearing are included in the agreed clearing price. Camera passage can be limited at squat-toilet connections.
If a started machine intervention cannot open the line because of a break, collapse, solid object or public-infrastructure problem, the explained normal service fee applies. Public-infrastructure work stops and you are directed to the relevant authority. Pipe repair and surface closing are separate.
Washing is optional work for a suitable line, with a separate price and approval. It does not replace repair of a broken or collapsed pipe. Bathroom renovation, drain-odour investigation, and tap or toilet installation have their own scope and materials.

These starting prices apply to a standard apartment during daytime service, 06:00–00:00. Night service, 00:00–06:00, adds 50%. The normal daytime rate applies from 06:00 to 00:00 on weekends and public holidays. Prices are valid from 18 October 2026.
Drain clearing is priced by the apartment’s private line or the building’s shared main line, rather than metres or the number of devices used. Connected drains on the same line may form one intervention; independent lines are separate jobs. If the scope matches the telephone discussion, the agreed price applies. A different scope and its revised price are explained before intervention.
The 3,000 TL leak-detection price covers detection in one standard apartment during daytime service. Repair and surface closing are separate. If we establish a leak in the tested apartment but cannot locate its source, we do not charge for that detection. If there is no leak in that apartment, the inspection fee applies. Multiple leaks or a wider repair area do not cancel the fee for detection whose source has been located. Another apartment’s scope and fee are explained before its inspection.
Drain-odour detection with equipment starts at 3,000 TL per apartment; repair is separate. The service investigates drain or wastewater smells. Leak and odour investigations are generally planned for daytime. Night work is generally for blockages and urgent burst pipes; ask about appointment availability.
Duplexes, larger homes, businesses, outdoor areas and wide or multi-zone jobs need a separate telephone quote. Ask us for a quote in Silivri, Çatalca, Pendik, Tuzla, Adalar and Şile. Necessary and technically possible camera checks or toilet removal for clearing are included in the agreed clearing price. Optional pipe washing requires a separate price and your approval.
Questions before arranging a visit
Did clearing the Bakırköy drain replace the old seals?
No. Seepage stopped after clearing in that job, but the seals and pipe were not renewed. A later repair need requires its own assessment.
Is a resident’s valve report enough to identify the source?
No. In our Bakırköy account that report was not directly observed by us. We followed our own checks and the subsequently reported blockage symptoms.
Can you promise a fixed arrival time?
No fixed arrival time applies to every call. The address, traffic and available team determine the appointment discussed by telephone.
How do I arrange written communication in English?
