In one of our Bahçelievler jobs, the flat below had water droplets on its ceiling but no stain yet. Its resident said the dripping had continued for about a day. Clean-water pipework was our initial suspicion; that report alone was not the diagnosis.
We connected a pressure-test pump to the hot-water line in the upper flat. The gauge showed a visible, unusually fast pressure drop. With the line pressurised, acoustic listening located the leak at the elbow beneath the kitchen sink, where a pipe from the floor met the wall connection.

Tile closing was agreed in advance for this particular job. As a general service rule, repair and surface closing are priced separately from detection. This case does not establish the opening area or result for another property.
What we check before proposing a repair
Dampness, increased water use and raised flooring can justify leak investigation, but do not identify the source on their own. Frequent boiler cycling or a radiator not warming properly is not a leak diagnosis. We investigate water and heating pipework; we do not repair boiler appliances or circulation pumps.
Suitable equipment includes Marwos V18 Plus acoustic listening, Raythink CX 200 Pro+ thermal imaging and Roteksan RC400 imaging for an accessible drain. The line, symptoms and access determine the method and any opening needed. Findings, a repair quote and the customer’s approval come before the repair.

If a started machine intervention cannot open the line because of a break, collapse, solid object or public-infrastructure problem, the explained normal service fee applies. Work on public infrastructure stops and you are directed to the relevant authority. Pipe repair or replacement and surface closing are separate jobs.
A non-return valve is not required for every backflow complaint and does not replace repair of a broken or collapsed pipe. Suitability, separate scope and price are explained before work. These starting prices apply to a standard apartment during daytime service, 06:00–00:00. Night service, 00:00–06:00, adds 50%. The normal daytime rate applies from 06:00 to 00:00 on weekends and public holidays. Prices are valid from 18 October 2026.
Drain clearing is priced by the apartment’s private line or the building’s shared main line, rather than metres or the number of devices used. Connected drains on the same line may form one intervention; independent lines are separate jobs. If the scope matches the telephone discussion, the agreed price applies. A different scope and its revised price are explained before intervention.
The 3,000 TL leak-detection price covers detection in one standard apartment during daytime service. Repair and surface closing are separate. If we establish a leak in the tested apartment but cannot locate its source, we do not charge for that detection. If there is no leak in that apartment, the inspection fee applies. Multiple leaks or a wider repair area do not cancel the fee for detection whose source has been located. Another apartment’s scope and fee are explained before its inspection.
Drain-odour detection with equipment starts at 3,000 TL per apartment; repair is separate. The service investigates drain or wastewater smells. Leak and odour investigations are generally planned for daytime. Night work is generally for blockages and urgent burst pipes; ask about appointment availability.
Duplexes, larger homes, businesses, outdoor areas and wide or multi-zone jobs need a separate telephone quote. Ask us for a quote in Silivri, Çatalca, Pendik, Tuzla, Adalar and Şile. Necessary and technically possible camera checks or toilet removal for clearing are included in the agreed clearing price. Optional pipe washing requires a separate price and your approval.

That case used matching tiles already held by its customer, under an advance agreement. Materials and surface closing for your property require their own quote.
Is a non-return valve always necessary after backflow?
No. Suitability is assessed on site. A valve cannot replace repair of a broken or collapsed pipe, and its separate price is explained before work.
Does a drain-camera recording prove that a repair passed its final test?
No. The recorded broken section in the source shows an inspection finding. It does not prove a completed repair or a later test result.
